RCGA NETWORK 2.0 IS HERE!
We would like to welcome you to RCGA Network version 2.0. We appreciate all of your patience and assistance during the rollout of this next generation handicap computation network application.
Important Notice:
We wanted to give everyone a brief run-down on High Priority issues that have been identified over the course of the last several days. These are certainly not all the issues that the development team is working on, but are some of the more important topics:
.
1. Internet Explorer is currently the optimal web-browser for RCGA Network 2.0. If you are experiencing any difficulties it may be due to not utilizing Internet Explorer. The few areas where incompatibility with other browsers exists should be corrected within the next week.
2. Many of the Club Administrator tools are available with more to come with new releases next week, including various reports and member roster sorting functions. Technical difficulties associated with deleting, activating, inactivating, and renewing members have been identified and are being developed and tested right now. This additions will start being rolled out as early as next week.
3. The system is currently not able to accept backdated 2006 scores as handicap scores. We anticipate this fix being in place within the next 2 weeks.
4. The popular Stats Tracking function will return to the RCGA Network once all the other high priority functionality issues have been identified and resolved and will be bigger and better this year.
To accommodate the number of golfers, usage, and many requests for new tools, it became incumbent and necessary to develop a completely new version of the RCGA Network. As with any major software release, the deployment over the course of the last week has had some issues and hiccups, but overall the new platform is more stable, scalable, and will be more sustainable than the previous version.
You may have experienced some issues with your login or scoring data transfer. We have identified these issues and our developers are working toward resolving them as soon as possible. The RCGA Network technology partner has a dedicated and capable group of experienced developers working 24/7 to update the application with additional functionality. The system will be stable and most of the core issues resolved in the next week to 2 weeks.
